Our latest dry period could well be ending soon — and then restarting.
Rain appears likely areawide by noon Sunday, if not earlier in the day. Once it’s here, there is a high likelihood of rainfall through sunset Monday. The National Weather Service is expecting anywhere from half an inch to over 1.25 inches of rainfall areawide.
The KVOE listening area has been dry since getting close to a foot of rain in some places Oct. 25-29.
Once the rain ends, the rest of the week — including Thanksgiving — looks to be cool and dry. High temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s through Black Friday, including a high of 51 degrees on Thanksgiving.
