If colder conditions don’t get you into the holiday spirit Friday, a rain-snow mix might do the trick Saturday.
A mix is possible for the KVOE listening area from early Saturday afternoon through the evening hours, based on the current forecast. Little to no accumulations are currently expected here, but there are a couple things that could affect any accumulations — temperatures, currently set to top out around 40 degrees, and the storm track, currently set to give bigger impacts to areas along and west of Interstate 135.
Isolated to scattered travel issues could develop areawide Saturday, depending on the conditions.
Temperatures will officially go below normal Friday with highs in the upper 30s. Temperatures will be around 40 for the weekend and low to mid 40s through the middle of next week.
We’ll have updates on KVOE, KVOE.com and KVOE social media.
