Deer hunting season is fully underway, and Kansas Missing and Unsolved is asking hunters to be on the lookout for more than just animals.
Founder and creator Ricky Tebrugge is asking hunters to look for anything out of the ordinary, including abandoned clothing that may be covering human remains or other evidence of criminal activity. Tebrugge says there are over 600 unsolved cases of missing people — children and adults — in Kansas, and he cited two specific cases where hunters helped to find clues that ultimately helped to solve cases, including the death of James Labat in Sedgwick County and the death of Ryan Bradley in Johnson County.
If you see something out of the ordinary, contact local law enforcement.
