Senior guard Alijah Comithier is the MIAA Basketball Player of the Week after averaging 21.0 ppg in two Hornet wins last week. Comithier dropped 23 points on Oklahoma Panhandle State last Wednesday before adding 19 points in ESU’s victory over Indianapolis on Sunday. Comithier shot 66.7% from the 3-point line and 90.9% from the free throw line last week. ESU returns to action on Saturday in their MIAA opener against Washburn in the Turnpike Tussle.
