Dimarco & Woolery Named First Team All-Region; Dimarco Player of the Year

MIAA Offensive Player of the Year Mackenzie Dimarco has added another award to her trophy case.  Dimarco is the 2023 Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association Central Region Women’s Soccer Player of the Year.  She was joined on the All-Region First Team by graduate midfielder Hannah Woolery.  Dimarco is the NCAA Division II leader with 22 goals this season and is second in the country with 48 points.  Woolery has five goals with six assists this season and is the Lady Hornet record-holder with 27 career assists.  Emporia State won the 2023 MIAA Tournament and is 14-5-4 and currently on a program record 10-match winning streak.  The Lady Hornets return to action in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament Friday against Washburn in Ashland, Ohio.  Kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m.
