Emporia won’t be the only place for holiday activities this weekend.
Americus has its annual Christmas parade Saturday night. Project Playscape organizer and spokesperson Britney Hinrichs says there’s space for anybody to attend or participate in the parade.
Parade line-up begins at 6:15 pm at Main and Walnut, with the parade itself at 7 pm. The popular Cookies with Santa will follow at the Americus Fire Department.
