Recent rainfall prompted the Lyon County Highway Department to close one road southeast of Emporia on Friday.
Staffers closed Road 150 between N and P after water was reported over the road.
Area residents got half an inch to over 1.5 inches of rain Thursday night into Friday, following 5-11 inches of snowfall — and anywhere from half an inch to over an inch of liquid equivalent — on Nov. 25 and another 1-1.5 inches of rain Nov. 20-21.
