The KVOE listening area is dealing with thick fog Saturday morning.
The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for Lyon, Coffey, Morris, Osage and Wabaunsee counties until 10 am. This follows a separate advisory for Chase and Greenwood counties until noon.
The Weather Service says there may be freezing fog with temperatures in the mid- and upper 20s for much of the morning. Visibility may be a quarter-mile or less in some spots as well.
If you notice fog, slow down, use low-beam headlights and increase the driving distance between your vehicle and the others around you.
