The atmosphere was laid back for Emporia’s Holiday Arts Sale on Saturday.
Among the artists displaying their wares was David Mai, who had traditional pottery and some very unusual art: okra Santas.
Initially, 12 artists were slated for the event at the Lyon County History Center’s third floor. However, several had to drop out due to health reasons. Regardless, there was fiber art, paintings, woodworking and literature for sale during the sale.
