An Osage County man was hurt in a wreck in northwest Osage County early Thursday evening.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the wreck involved an SUV and a homemade trailer. It happened on US Highway 56 near West 165th Street outside Scranton just after 5 pm.
Troopers say the trailer was parked partially on the highway when it was hit by an eastbound SUV driven by 67-year-old Douglas Siebuhr of Burlingame. Siebuhr was taken to Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka with suspected minor injuries. A passenger, 64-year-old Veda Siebuhr of Burlingame, was not hurt.
