Emporia State’s fifth-year forward Mackenzie Dimarco has been named a Second Team All-American by the United Soccer Coaches for the third-straight year. Dimarco matched a personal best with 23 goals and had four assists and had a personal best 50 points while helping to lead Emporia State to the 2023 MIAA Tournament title and the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament. Dimarco is the MIAA record holder in goals and points and leads ESU in every major offensive category other than assists. Dimarco has already been named First Team All-MIAA and All-Central Region and was the conference’s Offensive Player of the Year and the Central Region Player of the Year. The Lady Hornets finished 14-6-4 this year and made the program’s third-straight trip to the NCAA Tournament.
