If you are still looking for holiday gifts — or if you haven’t started that process yet — downtown Emporia merchants are welcoming you to their addresses Saturday for Emporia Main Street’s annual Sip N Shop.

Sip n Shop goes from 5-9 pm Saturday. Woods says over 20 merchants are involved with over $500 in Main Street gift certificates available. Participating businesses will have five stockings hidden at their locations. People who find those stockings can take those to registers to see if they have won chocolate from The Sweet Granada or a $25 gift certificate.
Certain businesses will be offering wine, beer and/or cocktails, so residents wanting those drinks will need to show ID and they will need to keep those drinks inside the businesses where they are bought.
