Two ranked matchups will happen in Olpe Friday night as the Lady Eagles and Eagles host Lebo in a Lyon County League doubleheader.
On the girls side, it’ll be a ranked matchup between Lebo, the No. 1 team in 1A-Division II at 5-0and Olpe, the No. 7 team in 1A-Division I at 4-1.
Olpe girls coach Ron Slaymaker says the Lady Eagles have to depend on their defense to be successful against the Lady Wolves.
Meanwhile, the boys’ game will be a matchup between Olpe, the No. 3 ranked team in 1A-Division I at 4-1, facing Lebo, the sixth-ranked team in 1A-Division II at 3-2.
Lebo boys coach Dennis Becker says the Wolves need to continue to limit the turnovers and guard.
Girls game tips at 6 p.m. with the boys to follow at 7:30 p.m. The games will be broadcast on Country 101.7 FM, KVOE.com and the Audacy App. The Mel’s Tire Pregame Show is set to start around 5:40 p.m.
