Low-end drought continues for the KVOE listening area.
As it was last week, all area counties are in abnormally dry to moderate drought after the US Drought Monitor issued its weekly update Thursday morning. Most of the north half of Lyon County is listed as abnormally dry, along with almost all of Osage County and a strip of Wabaunsee County including Harveyville.
The rest of the KVOE listening area is in moderate drought.
Light rain — anywhere from 0.20 to 0.30 inches — is possible Friday.
