Three vehicles collided in south Emporia on Friday, sending one person to Newman Regional Health for observation and treatment.
The crash happened shortly after 7:30 am at South and Congress. Details ahve not been announced about how the wreck transpired. The name and condition of the hospitalized person have not been released.

8 am Friday: Three-vehicle wreck reported in south Emporia
Emporia Police and Emporia Fire are on the scene of a reported injury crash in south Emporia on Friday.
Fire and Police were dispatched to the intersection of Congress and West South shortly after 7:30 am. Early indications are three vehicles and at least three patients are involved.
