CrossWinds Counseling and Wellness is in the process of going tobacco-free by the start of 2024.
Come Jan. 1, everybody on CrossWinds property — clients, visitors, residents and staff — will be prohibited from using tobacco products, regardless of whether they are inside a building or outside.
CrossWinds Development Specialist Adam Blake says going tobacco-free has been supported by a wide range of health advocacy groups. This move is designed to help CrossWinds have the healthiest possible environment for staff, clients, residents and visitors.
Residents wanting to stop smoking can call 800-QUIT-NOW for help.
