Formal charges are pending in Coffey County after an arrest this week on suspected solicitation and exploitation activity.
The Coffey County Sheriff’s Office jail roster says 47-year-old Jason Wayne Curtis was arrested early Tuesday on suspicion of electronic solicitation of a child under the age of 14, as well as sexual exploitation of a child under the age of 18.
Coffey County deputies are still investigating the case and say there is nothing further to release at this time. There is no word on when a decision will be made on formal charges.
