Renovations are underway inside the future home of the El Rio Bravo grocery store, 1324 Industrial, after a building permit was listed by the city earlier this month.
El Rio Bravo will be geared towards the local Hispanic community once it opens with a meat market, bakery, produce and desserts. A timetable for that is currently pending.
El Rio Bravo will fill the space vacated by Aldi when it moved to 24th and Industrial in 2018.
