When Graves Drugs shut down its pharmacy as part of its liquidation effort in mid-December, the scripts and other information all went over to Walgreens initially.
Several patients have since shifted to other local pharmacies. Haag Pharmacy owner Amber Haag says the last two-plus weeks have been busy with new customers.
Residents wanting to change their pharmacies, regardless of whether they used to be served by Graves, simply need to call their pharmacy of choice to start the process. Haag says pharmacists will handle the rest.
Graves Drug announced Dec. 11 its pharmacy was closing later that day. The liquidation process continues, possibly through most of January according to Graves owner Melissa Daniels.
