The Flint Hills Ranching Heritage Center, also known as Pioneer Bluffs, is looking for a new executive director.
The Ranching Heritage Center is looking for somebody with a background in non-profit management, specifically fundraising and grant writing experience. The agency is also looking for somebody who is detail-oriented, “enthusiastic” about the Flint Hills and its ranching heritage and able to organize and work with both volunteers and donors.
Interested residents are advised to submit a cover letter, resume and application online at pioneerbluffs.org.
The director will be Pioneer Bluffs’ third in six months, following a lengthy period of stability for the agency. Lynn Smith, Pioneer Bluffs’ first director, assumed those duties in 2008 and retired this past fall. Pioneer Bluffs named Christie Reinhardt as director in July after serving as a program manager for Alaska’s Department of Health.
