No transports were needed after a two-vehicle collision in central Emporia Tuesday afternoon.
The accident involved an eastbound Ford SUV and a southbound Infiniti passenger car that collided in the intersection of Seventh and Union just after 2:40 pm. According to Emporia Police Sgt. Dominic Vortherms, a total of five individuals, the driver of the SUV and the driver and three juvenile passengers in the Infiniti, were involved in the accident.
The juveniles were observed at the scene of the accident but did not require further medical treatment. The drivers of both vehicles were unharmed.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene of the accident.
