The 2024 contingent of performances as part of the Emporia Arts Council’s Performing Arts Series begins next month.
The Emporia Granada Theatre will host Anne Frank: Words from the Shadows a presentation from Imperfect Dancers Company on Friday, February 2 at 7 pm. EAC Director Dawn Young says the EAC is very excited about this performance as the group out of Italy is gaining great attention on an international scale.
Following the dance performance, the Granada will host the second show of the 2024 contingent the DooWop Project on Thursday, February 29 at 7 pm. Young says the Doowop Project will feature five of the best Broadway talents all on one stage.
Janet’s Planet will be the third presentation taking place Wednesday, March 20 at 6 pm with the slate of events concluding with Evil Woman the American ELO on Wednesday, April 24.
