Numerous points of business are ahead for the USD 253 Emporia Board of Education when it meets Wednesday.
Board members will discuss academic data at the building level, following a similar conversation at the district level in November. A proposal to reorganize the Flint Hills Special Education Cooperative’s administrative structure is on the agenda, along with a discussion about a water main break at Emporia High over winter break and the district’s use of its administrative leeway policy to pay for repairs.
Other topics include an executive session on confidential student information during regular session and a resolution involving a public hearing for the sale of the Kansas Avenue School building as part of the consent agenda.
Wednesday’s meeting begins at 6:30 pm at Mary Herbert Education Center.
