The MIAA is moving forward with a plan to test instant replay technology for baseball and softball during the upcoming conference season. The conference’s Athletics Administrators Committee agreed to implement the pilot program for regular season conference games in 2024 using applicable rules approved by the NCAA. Central Missouri, Missouri Western and Pittsburg State will be the test sites for baseball while Central Oklahoma, Rogers State, and Nebraska-Kearney will serve as the test schools for softball. The conference will utilize the SkyCoach Instant Replay System that has been previously used for MIAA football over the last two seasons. Instant replay will also be made available at the championship sites for the MIAA baseball and softball tournaments.
