Emporia residents — if you typically get your trash and recycling picked up on Tuesdays and it didn’t happen Wednesday after an effort to reschedule, it likely will take place Thursday.
Tuesday’s service was delayed to Wednesday due to bad weather. City Communications Manager Christine Torrens says unspecified staffing issues may delay some of the initially-rescheduled pickups to Thursday.
