Water service has been restored for a west Emporia neighborhood after a water main break Thursday.
The break developed near Wheeler Street and Village Avenue shortly before 9 am.

A water main break in west Emporia is in the early repair process.
Emporia Underground Utilities crews are at Wheeler and Village Avenue to fix a break announced shortly before 9 am. Locations on Village Avenue may see their service disrupted, although it does not appear Village Elementary will be affected.
