For over a year, the David Traylor Zoo’s offices have been offsite. They return later this month.
Offices will officially be back at the zoo for operations Jan. 29. Offices have been at the former Emporia Gazette building, 517 Merchant, since October 2022 as part of a major renovation and expansion of the Zoo Education Center.
There will be a transition period where business will be conducted by phone at 620-341-4365. Offices housing both the zoo and park departments will be immediately available at the Zoo Education Building, although classrooms will still operate at 517 Merchant as construction continues on the east side of the building.
