Bitterly cold air outside didn’t cool down the atmosphere inside Triad Leasing for the Watch the Chiefs Selection Show on Country 101.7 FM.
Ed Rathke picked the Kansas City Chiefs as part of a blind draw. He picked 13th, immediately behind a proxy for Charla Adams.
This year’s prize is a 55-inch 4K LED smart TV. Triad Leasing’s Pat Engberg says it’s a good promotion for the store for the entire year — not just football season.
For years, the participants who picked the “Better Luck Next Year” squares were automatically eliminated. This year, those players drew a team to follow — and if that team wins the Super Bowl, the player will also receive a TV from Triad.
Throughout the NFL regular season, listeners to Country 101.7 FM had a chance to name two mystery players during each game. Successful participants then qualified for the chance to win the television and also received a free one-topping pizza from Gambino’s.
