Emporia High senior Lily Heinen signed her national letter of intent to run cross country and track at Kansas Wesleyan on Wednesday.
Heinen said when she made a visit to KWU, she felt like she could fit in there.
Emporia High coach Mike Robinson said Heinen has been a great competitor to coach.
Kansas Wesleyan cross country coach Garrett Young said he’s excited to get Heinen to Salina as a part of a strong recruiting class for the fall of 2024.
Along with running cross country, Heinen will focus on distance events in track and field.
