There was one upset in the girls first round of the Flint Hills Shootout on Thursday afternoon at White Auditorium.
Fifth-seed Mission Valley upset West Franklin, 65-33. Mission Valley will get top-seed Osage City at 6 p.m. Friday, who had no problems with Central Heights, 74-15. Campbell Stark led Osage City with 15 points. The other semifinal will take place at 3 p.m. Friday with Chase County taking on Lyndon. Chase County defeated Council Grove, 58-52. Madelyn Wilson led the Bulldogs with 20 points. Lyndon defeated Northern Heights, 46-34.
