The Emporia High boys swim and dive team competed in the Campus Invitational on Thursday.
The top finish for the Spartans was Alex Allemang, who finished fifth in diving with Mark Decker finishing sixth. The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Logan Woydziak, Luke Marshall, Tyler Luthi and Broden Podrebarac finished fifth with a time of 3:55.51. Logan Woydziak finished seventh in the 50 free was a part of the 200-yard freestyle relay team with Shane Anderson, Ian Navarro and Tyler Luthi that recorded a season best time of 1:41.71. Navarro finished 10th in the 500-yard freestyle while the 200-yard medley relay team of Broden Podrebarac, Woydziak, Anderson and Navarro finished 10th.
As a team, Emporia High finished seventh with 142 points.
Emporia High will next be in action next Saturday at home for its final home meet of the season. Diving will begin at 9 a.m. with swim events set to start at Noon.
