The election cycle is underway, and there are now two candidates on the Lyon County ballot.
Wendy Weiss has filed for re-election as Register of Deeds. She has served in that role since 2016.
Sharon Gaede, meanwhile, has filed for re-election as Treasurer, a role she has filled since 2012.
The traditional primary election is Aug. 6, followed by the general election Nov. 5.
Meanwhile, the Presidential Primary Election is March 19, with four Democrats and four Republicans on the ballot:
