Foggy conditions have returned to the KVOE listening area.
Fog developed early Tuesday and stuck around through most of the morning, with visibility around a quarter-mile in many locations. The fog returned after sunset and continues Wednesday morning with similar visibility issues.
As such, all area counties remain in a dense fog advisory until noon.
Travel issues are not widespread Wednesday morning, although Kandrive.org indicates seasonal conditions — isolated to widely scattered icing — on and west of the Kansas Turnpike. Temperatures remain just above freezing, but there could be icing on bridges, overpasses and other elevated surfaces through sunrise.
Rain is possible Wednesday morning after we got 0.50 inches of rain Tuesday. Fog could well return early and again late Thursday, with more rain possible Friday night into Saturday before this weather pattern finally breaks and sun returns by Sunday.
