Trial may be coming in late March in an Emporia rape case.
Gerald Travis Todd, age 42, has been charged with two counts of rape and four of aggravated criminal sodomy. after an alleged incident in August 2021. The legal complaint accuses Todd of illegal activity with somebody incapable of giving consent due to alcohol or drugs.
Trial is tentatively scheduled to begin March 25 and may last most of that week if it takes place. A status hearing is planned for March 20.
