Dense fog has been a key component in the weather forecast every day this week, and it’s back again Friday morning.
Dense fog advisories remain in place areawide until noon with visibility down to a quarter-mile in and out of Emporia. Once again, drivers will need to slow down, use low-beam headlights and increase the driving distance between their vehicles and the others around them.
Foggy conditions should finally exit the area by Saturday. Sunshine returns Sunday as temperatures climb to around 50 degrees to close out the weekend. Highs could approach 60 degrees for most of next week.
