Street Cats Club is putting some of its operations on pause after some recent changes.
The group announced via social media the recent departures of three group members, leading to a “temporary hold” on both the foster program intake and trap/neuter/return programs.
This step follows an extremely busy year for the group. 2023 had almost 200 foster cats and over 500 feral cats fixed through the TNR program. There were over 700 cats that received medical care through Street Cats Club — with a veterinary expense bill passing $25,000 — and nearly 120 cat adoptions.
Founder Victoria Partridge says the group is not issuing additional comment to the media at this time. The social media statement says the group is “actively working to minimize the disruption in services during this period” and Street Cats Club is “actively seeking new leadership” so these services can return to normal as soon as possible.
