The Emporia High bowling teams competed at the Great Plains Classic held in Wichita over the weekend.
The Spartans finished eighth after the Baker games and were defeated in bracket play in round one by Garden City, 2-1. Emporia High recorded a score of 5,232. Colton Swift finished third individually with a series of 712.
The Lady Spartans finished 17th, recording a score of 3,462. Taylor McKay was the top Lady Spartan individually finishing 72nd with a score of 415.
Emporia High will next compete on Saturday in the Crusader Classic in Hutchinson.
