After a month-long layoff, the Emporia Senior Center’s weekly bingo nights will return Tuesday.
The layoff in bingo was due to a combination of factors according to Senior Center Board Member Jeff Hodges during a recent interview on KVOE’s Morning Show.
Senior Center volunteer Sonia Hodges says they are not only excited for the return of bingo from a financial standpoint but also from a service perspective for local seniors.
As has been the case for some time now, the evening will allow players to play both with traditional paper cards and electronically.
Sonia Hodges says the electronic option is fun and allows players to play multiple cards more efficiently than traditional paper cards.
Doors will open for bingo at 5:30 pm with play set to begin at 7 pm. For more information, call the Emporia Senior Center at 620-343-3160 or find them on Facebook.
