If you live in the city of Emporia, your input is wanted.
The city is into a new community survey process after a similar partnership with the ETC Institute two years ago. On KVOE’s Newsmaker segment Monday, City Director of Special Projects Tayler Wash called the 2022 survey a baseline effort to gauge adjustments in resident opinions for city services and priorities.
Surveys went out by mail earlier this month. It also now available online at emporiasurvey.org. The survey period will end once there are 400 responses received.
The survey is only going out to city residents. Lyon County residents will have a chance to take part when the survey results are posted at a later time — after the scientific data is gathered and the target number of responses is reached.
Survey results will be available at emporiaks.gov/survey, the same web address where people can find results of the 2022 survey. Residents can call 620-341-4304 or email emporiainfo@emporiaks.gov with questions.
