The Kansas Teacher of the Year team is coming to Emporia State University on Tuesday.
Team members have presentations to students and faculty ahead, along with a tour of the National Teachers Hall of Fame and a recording of the ESU Teachers College podcast, “How We Teach This.”
USD 233 middle school history teacher Taylor Bussinger is the Teacher of the Year at the state level. The list of regional Teachers of the Year is online with our story at KVOE.com.
The Kansas Teacher of the Year program is sponsored by the Kansas Department of Education and is designed to identify and recognize “representatives of excellent teaching.” The team serves as ambassadors for education with public stops across the state.
