Lyon County commissioners have an action session coming Thursday morning.
Commissioners will get a report on 2023 expenses from Sheriff’s Office representative Jay Whitney. They will also have a nearly $20,000 quote presented by Sheriff’s Office representative Tobey Kelley for in-car cameras and body cameras.
Commissioners will also get a presentation about adopting the county road’s Functional Classification System as required at both the state and federal levels from County Engineer Chip Woods. An update from Woods on the Road 170 bridge over Dry Creek that collapsed this past weekend is currently not on the agenda.
Commission and county staff reports are planned along with two executive sessions, one each for non-elected personnel and legal matters.
The meeting starts at 9 am at the County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
