An Emporia State football coach is moving north to the Cornhusker State. Wide receivers coach and special teams coordinator Tyler Harris will join Nebraska-Kearney after seven years in Emporia. The Andover native played two seasons for the Hornets before staying on as a graduate assistant and eventually becoming a full time member of the staff. Harris coached multiple wide receivers to All-American status including consensus Second Team All-American Tyler Kahmann last year for the 9-3 Hornets who won the 2023 Fun Town RV Heritage Bowl.
