Are veterans using the MyHealtheVet online portal will notice some changes soon.
The big change? Spokesman Shawn Hoffman with the Department of Veterans Affairs for Eastern Kansas says the personal health record portal is changing online locations.
Besides giving veterans access to their health records, MyHealtheVet also allows access to doctor notes, medication plans and ways to refill prescriptions. It also gives them an online communication method with their VA providers.
One of the big components of this online move is to have veterans create new sign-in information as a way to increase security, even if they already have a MyHealtheVet account. Hoffman says there will be two options for veterans: a login.gov account or an id.me account.
