There could be some snowflakes early Sunday, but there shouldn’t be any weather-related issues for your Super Bowl party.
A winter storm will bring the chance of precipitation to the area for much of Sunday, but the current information has the accumulating snow track well south of Emporia — although some light snowfall is possible for the morning hours. The projections have accumulating snowfall for much of southeast Kansas, including southeast Greenwood County, which might get up to an inch of snow.
Rain is possible for the afternoon and early evening hours. High temperatures could climb to the mid-40s Sunday.
