Scouts BSA Troop 157 dished out a lot of pancakes Saturday — which is what happens when they are all-you-can-eat.
The troop had its annual pancake feed, including sausage and drinks, at Emporia’s First Christian Church. Scout member Shawn Dengler of Olpe is now into his seventh year with the troop and his 10th overall with Scouting. He likes a lot of the traditional Scouting activities.
Much of the troop was on hand to direct traffic, deliver food, take tickets and buss tables.
Proceeds help in part with outdoor activities and merit badge work. Totals will be announced later.
