Cherie Crisp hadn’t played KVOE’s Cupid’s Arrow contest until this year. And go figure — she took home the grand prize Tuesday.
It took Crisp less than 20 seconds to call KVOE and claim her prize once her love word, “angel,” was chosen on KVOE’s Morning Show on Monday.
KVOE listeners tuned in for a special love word to be eligible for the grand prize as well as prizes from participating sponsors like Emporia Floral, Goodcents, AKA the Sports Fan, Jack’s Lawn and Pool, Gambino’s Pizza and The Sweet Granada. This year’s grand prize: a 10-carat double-heart pendant in rose gold and diamonds worth almost $800 from Kari’s Diamonds and Bridal.
