Pretrial and arraignment is taking place this week in an Emporia drug distribution case.
Caden Hunt, age 20, appears at 1:15 pm Friday before Judge Jeff Larson.
Hunt, age 20 of Overland Park, faces 16 total counts, mainly revolving around the alleged distribution of cocaine, LSD, marijuana, cannabinoids and psilocybin but also including the use of a cell phone and social media apps to make transactions.
Hunt’s arrest followed a nearly month-long investigation by Emporia Police that included a search of Emporia State’s Sigma Tau Gamma house. The fraternity dismissed Hunt as a member shortly after his arrest.
