Lyon County commissioners approved a pair of items of note in their action meeting Thursday.
Commissioners approved two months of interim quality assurance reviews from Priority Dispatch relating to the county’s medical and fire calls. Emergency Communications Director Roxanne Van Gundy says this will be in place with the department’s quality assurance supervisor on maternity leave. Commissioners approved a $6,000 oultlay from 911 funds for this service.
Commissioners also approved a letter of support as Hetlinger Developmental Services pursues Kansas Community Service tax credits.
Also Thursday, County Appraiser Ryan Janzen gave a presentation on the 2024 valuation notices, which go in the mail Monday. Janzen will have more information on the valuation notices on KVOE’s Newsmaker 2 segment at 8:20 am Friday.
