Status hearings are coming in May for seven Emporia State professors who appealed their dismissals from Emporia State University last year.
Emporia State has been challenging the Kansas Office of Administrative Hearings’ decisions to reinstate Michael Behrens, Rob Catlett, Dan Colson, Charles Emmer, Amanda Miracle, Michael Morales and Lynette Sievert. The professors had appealed shortly after ESU dismissed them as part of the Framework for Workforce Management, which led to the terminations of over 30 faculty members.
The hearings are set for May 21.
