Another detention review hearing is coming this week for the teenager accused of setting fire to an Emporia business twice within a week last month.
Justin Hines, age 17, will appear in Lyon County District Court at 2 pm Tuesday.
Hines was charged in early February after fires Jan. 17 and Jan. 22 that heavily damaged Moore’s Greenhouse outside Guion’s Showcase at 2023 West Sixth. The second fire also caused exterior damage to the northwest corner of the Guion’s Building. There were no reported injuries with either incident.
